Hey Kids! You like people yakking over movies?

Okay, here’s the thing.
Back in 2006, one of the hot things to do on the Internet was to make homemade commentary tracks to our favorite movies. There was even a website (Now lost to the mists of time and memory.) that let you upload your own commentaries.
Well, during a trip to Seattle to visit my buddy, Jake Merriman, we decided to record an off the cuff yak track to the Director’s cut of SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE. (I had just gotten the giant DVD box set that also included all the other Reeves’ SUPERMAN movies and Singer’s SUPERMAN RETURNS.) And we uploaded it to the site and went on with our lives.

Well, it turns out I still had the sound file on my hard drive (Which considering this was about two laptops and multiple OS’ ago is kind of amazing.) So, I slapped it on to my FCP X, added some graphics and bob’s your uncle!

This is to the director’s cut and you should start it just as the Warner Brothers logo comes up.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I’m curious how it plays all these years later.
